Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Town Hall, including all offices, will remain closed until at least May 31, 2020.

The Kellner Community Activity Building and the Parsonage are also closed until further notice.

Effective April 22nd, 2020, Palatine Bark, the Germantown dog park, is now closed until further notice.

Please note that all Town sponsored or supported outdoor activities usually held in May are cancelled. These include but are not limited to the River Sweep, Garden Club, Yard Sales and Stroll, the Memorial Day parade and festivities.

The Little League season has been canceled.

The Rabies Clinic has been postponed.

Please note that the Town Playground remains closed. Please practice social distancing if you do go outside. And please wear a mask if you will be in proximity to others.

The Town Board will meet remotely on May 12, 2020 using Zoom audio/video technology. The agenda and information about how the public can participate will be posted by May 8, 2020.

The Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals will meet remotely in May as necessary. Similarly, GEDAC, LWRP committee and WAC will also meet remotely. The boards and committees will use Zoom audio/video technology. Please check the calendar and “News” on our website for more details about upcoming meetings, agendas and information about how the public can participate.

We will reassess the situation by May 31, 2020.

The Supervisor, Code Enforcement Officer and Town Clerk can be reached by calling the office at (518) 537-6687. Please leave a message. They will check their messages periodically and return your call. If necessary, they will make an appointment with you. Please consider delaying any in person meetings until further notice.

You may obtain a recyclable sticker by mailing a check, payable to the Town of Germantown, to the Town Clerk, who will return the sticker to you by mail. You can also obtain stickers at the Columbia County transfer station, by check only.
Marriage licenses are available by appointment.
Sewer payments may be made by check payable to the Town of Germantown and mailed to Town Hall.

We have hand sanitizer available on Saturday 4/25, 10am-12pm under the pavilion at Palatine Park. Please bring your own small container to refill, as we are out of bottles, but have gallon pumps. Volunteers will also be accepting food & monetary donations for the Food Pantry.

We will continue to monitor the situation and work with our partners at Columbia County to do what is best for Germantown.
