Memorial Day Ceremony Information

May 21st, 2020

The Germantown Town Board & Germantown American Legion Post 346 are pleased to share with you the details for our Procession on Memorial Day.  We will begin the Ceremony at the Monument at Town Hall precisely at 10am.

Participants should remain in their vehicles during the Ceremony.

The Color Guard and others that are participating in the Ceremony shall maintain appropriate distance from each other and wear masks.

Upon completion of the Ceremony the Procession will begin and will not stop until the Route is concluded.

We encourage participants to decorate their vehicles, if possible, so we can spread cheer throughout town during these difficult times. Our theme is Red, White & Blue / Celebrating Our Fallen Heroes.

If you are an organization, group or business participating we encourage you to make a sign or banner for your vehicle.

For observers along the Procession Route, please maintain all current social distancing and safety practices, including mask wearing.

We care about doing this as safely as possible, while also giving our community a moment of togetherness. Thank you and stay well.
