EV Info for Germantown

December 24th, 2020

As part of installing the EV charger in the lot across from the Post Office, we’ve been presenting a program called Drive Green with information from National Grid about Electric Vehicles. This is the last installment in that program. If you were unable to join any of the webinars, don’t fret because they’ve been recorded for your viewing pleasure.

Here’s a reminder of some of the topics covered:

  • Electric Vehicles 101: This webinar is a crash course in everything you need to know to make your next car electric, including information about incentives, fuel savings, environmental impact, and available makes and models.
  • Ask an EV Owner: Nearly 100% of electric vehicle (EV) drivers report being extremely satisfied with their decision to drive on electricity. Hear from some real people who have switched to an electric car as they answer commons questions about EV ownership.
  • Charged Up: Making the switch to an electric car can be intimidating if you’re used to refueling with gasoline. Watch this 40-minute webinar to figure out where you’ll charge, how much it will save you, and why it can be more convenient than refueling with gas.
